The NAC department of Patkar College organized an inter-collegiate festival “FIESTA-E-JOSH-09” on 10th and 11th of January ‘09. The theme of the festival was ‘Indian defense’ as the festival was dedicated to the people who sacrificed their life in 26/11 terror attack.
We continued our success with the sense of togetherness since last year with the help of students, professors, principal, management and our sponsors.
The CL meet of this grand event was on 9th January, different CL’s from various Colleges registered for different events on the day.
The festival was inaugurated on 10th January by Dr G.V. Pandit, Secretary of Chikitsak Samuha and Dr. Suman Pawar, Executive director.
The festival was conducted in our College premises. There were 34 events classified under Management, Fine Arts, Sports and LAN games. The mega events were Treasure hunt, Rescue mission and live Counter Strike. Nearly 41 Colleges with different streams participated in the festival. The Best BMS trophy was won by Bhavans (Chowpatty) College, Best BAF trophy was won by Raheja College and Best overall College trophy was won by Sathaye College.
At the end, the event was definitely a thing to remember till the next fiesta-e-josh takes place. |
