Program Outcomes:

Master  in travel  & tourism management is an undergraduate Programme.Learn the classification of heritage into tangible & intangible. Appraise the cultural heritage, both tangible & intangible value of our country. Acquire knowledge related to tourist attractions of various states in India to help  create a good Tourism Product Identify the tourist attractions around the World Compare to understand the value of various places of tourist attractions Plan tourism products using these places of tourist attractions Identify the various documents and formalities while planning out Domestic / International holidays Learn & compare the policies of government for tourism facilitation Evaluate the scientific tourism theories & framework  Define travel agency & its departments  work profile. Classify & compare the various types of agencies worth  its size, work & innovation Assemble information about the management of various travel agencies for business understanding Communication Skills will enable them to listen and effectively communicate with their Colleagues/Peers ,Juniors and Seniors  and interact with people/ clients of diverse backgrounds in the office and on Tour Apply the knowledge and skills learnt during Internship to real life situations /problems for BachelorsDefine the concepts of Rail & Cruise Tourism with growth & scope .Identify & compare various available rail & cruise tours Formulate holidays using the 2 modes of transportation sea & rail and Masters

Program Specific Outcomes:

Understand multi-form character of travel and tourism business. Explain the diverse nature of tourism, including culture and place, global/local perspectives, and experience design and provision. Plan, lead, organize and control resources for effective and efficient tourism operations. Create, apply, and evaluate marketing strategies for tourism destinations and organizations. Propose and conduct a research project to inform tourism practice. Assess, evaluate, and employ appropriate communication tools for discussions within and between teams and members, various audiences, decision-making teams, and corporate communication tasks.  Apply problem solving and critical analysis within diverse contexts. Work collaboratively in groups, both as a leader and a team member, in diverse environments, learning from and contributing to the learning of others.

Course Outcomes:

1.The progression of the program and structure will enable students to build on and Identify various forms of niche tourism products & their relationship with tourism demand Compare the differences between niche & mass tourism Analyse the dynamism of niche tourism & variables needed for its development

2.Construct a tour plan Calculate & compare the finances of the tour Design a workable, logical, operational tour.

3.Students will be able to Explain concepts of fundamentals financial concepts Apply budgeting using traditional methods Analyse main ways of raising capital Integrate concepts to application.

 

4.The course enables students to  Plan, and engage in an independent and sustained critical investigation and evaluation of a chosen research topic Systematically identify relevant theory and concepts, relate these to appropriate methodologies, apply appropriate techniques and draw appropriate conclusions Engage in systematic discovery and critical review of  relevant information sources Understand and apply ethical standards of conduct in the collection and evaluation of data and other resources to complete a high standard scientific research paper

 

5. Define concepts ancillary to tourism industry Understand their role & relevance.

 

6. Analyse relationship theory & relationship economics from the point of view of customer & organization Analyse organisation’s   relationship strategies & its effect on customer Evaluate CRM implementation strategies Formulate & assess operational & tactical CRM decisions.
